Get over it.
It's time to move on.
Get over it.
Let the past go.
Get over it.
I've apologized.
Get over it.
And it's not my fault.
Get over it.
I miss my friend.
Get over it.
I don't understand.
Get over it.
I need you.
Get over it.
Forgive me.
Get over it.
Please.

Gorilla
When I think of gorillas,
I can't help but smile,
Because in that instant I know,
I'm better than an ape.
We may have evolved,
But some of us carry,
Unique features,
That is downright scary.
When I think of gorillas,
I can't help but laugh,
Because in that instant I know,
That you're just daft.
We may have grown apart,
But both of us know,
When we're shivering,
And ignoring the snow.
When I think of gorillas,
I can't help but think,
Because in that instant I know.
No one wants to be with,
The man in the yellow hat.
I can't help but smile,
Because in that instant I know,
I'm better than an ape.
We may have evolved,
But some of us carry,
Unique features,
That is downright scary.
When I think of gorillas,
I can't help but laugh,
Because in that instant I know,

Time
You let her walk away,
Her feet dragging on the floor,
She has to come back,
This time.
But here's some news,
Her mind is pacing,
Her heart's tired of lacking,
The few words she needs to hear.
This time will be different.
You let her go,
Remember that day,
Because that's the day,
She won't turn around.
She won't swallow her pride,
Because she's right,
Though she balances you out,
You take her for granted.
Time's up.
Her feet dragging on the floor,
She has to come back,
This time.
But here's some news,
Her mind is pacing,
Her heart's tired of lacking,
The few words she needs to hear.
This time will be different.
You let her go,

Because that's the day,

Stop
I sacrificed a lot,
To get where I am,
And truth be told,
I'm not the slightest sad.
When I think of what I did,
To get where I am,
I don't dwell on the past,
Because life's happening now.
And all the winners,
Couldn't have done better,
To make me realize,
That who I'll be,
Is more than they deserve.
They left behind a scar,
Something that I'll carry with me,
For the rest of my life,
But when I make it to the top,
Don't kick yourselves too hard.
And all those left behind,
Could have stayed with me,
To make me realize,
That who I'll be,
Is going to miss them.
They are gone,
Something that haunts me,
For the rest of my life,
But when signs happen,
Don't ignore them, come back.
And all the lasting friends,
Couldn't have been better,
To make me realize,
That who I'll be,
Is a hell of a lot more than I thought.
They are the most understanding,
Something that I treasure,
For the rest of my life
I sacrificed a lot,
To get where I am,
And truth be told,
I can't help but laugh.
I'm not stopping anytime soon.
To get where I am,
And truth be told,
I'm not the slightest sad.
When I think of what I did,
To get where I am,
I don't dwell on the past,
Because life's happening now.
