Carpe Diem- Seize the day,
To seize the day,
For you and I,
Was prevented by you.
Given you were still a page ahead,
Keeping me behind,
The climax was rising,
And you ruined the ending.
But you were reading Hamlet,
And I, Jane Eyre.
So to seize the day,
I switched the books.
And I kept on reading,
Until I was two pages ahead.
